22 May Wrap-up first quarter of 2021.
During the first quarter of 2021, the City Gecko brand continued to develop in a good direction, creating one positive story that promotes the introduction of smart technologies in public places and the use of renewable energy sources. We made a small review of the first quarter of 2021.
We started the year in the best possible way, by installing a new product within the City Gecko range of smart solutions. The first solar bus station was installed in the city of Banja Luka and put at the service of citizens.
Using the energy of the sun, we protect our environment, and by installing smart bus stations, we strengthen the urban community through modern infrastructure. Clean solar energy is used and converted into electricity that allows citizens to charge their smart devices and access free Wi-Fi.
The month of February was marked by significant visits to our company and successful cooperation.
It was a great honor to host the Swedish Ambassador, Johanna Stromquist. Thanks to the Swedish International Development Agency, our products have gained added value. As part of the C2C program, the City Gecko mobile and web applications have been successfully developed. Collected using sensors, ambient data is graphically displayed to end-users via the application. And the owners of the module were allowed to change the content on the promotional display and extract reports for a certain period, all through a web application.
The innovativeness of the City Gecko brand solution, within Telemax, has been recognized by the Bit Alliance community. In February, we became a new member of the community, with a clear goal of implementing joint activities. It is a great pleasure for us to be a member of the Bit Alliance, and this only gives us additional motivation in our future work.
Significant visits continued in March, and we were visited by the Minister of Scientific and Technological Development, Higher Education and Information Society of the Republic of Srpska, Srdjan Rajčević.
The support of local authorities, as well as communication and cooperation with them, is an important factor in brand development. And we just used this visit to acquaint the Minister with the development of our innovative solutions, as well as the plans of the company.
At the beginning of April, our range of solutions we offer is enriched with new possibilities – the Wood Module was given the possibility of installing an armchair as well as the possibility of installing a promotional display or lightbox on the side of the bench. In this way, additional advertising spaces were created and thus new revenues for solution owners.
We are turning to the new challenges that lie ahead, further development of solutions, and installation of new ones with the expansion of the distribution network. We are looking forward to the continuation of this, 2021, and the strengthening of the City Gecko brand.
