23 Apr Solar tree, the gift of company TELEMAX, was installed in the city center
On the occasion of the City day and the Earth Day, a solar tree, teh gift from the TELEMAX company to the City of Banja Luka, was presented.
Mayor of Banja Luka, Igor Radojčić, and director of TELEMAX Arijana Maksmičuk on 22. of April visited the location of the tree and put it into operation. This was also officially the end of the project of donation and the construction of the first energy efficient solution of this kind. The installation of solar tree represents the contribution of company TELEMAX to the city, and its improvement as a technological and ecologically advanced city.
TELEMAX representatives claim that they are firmly committed to creating innovative and environmentally efficient solutions, and for this reason, their support to the city as an energy-conscious environment is great. Also, in this way, we are raising the awareness of citizens about renewable energy sources and the importance of their use for the purpose of protecting the environment.
Ariana Maksimčuk said that this tree is a gift from this company and that this is an innovation that they want to introduce to the population in the way of transforming solar energy into usable energy.
“All of our fellow citizens can fill up phones, mobile phones and Ipads today, and they can sit down and rest,” she said, adding that this is the future in energy.
Radojicic emphasized that the city must look ahead and that it is necessary to see what is of interest to young generations and what new technologies bring.
“This is one of the decoration in the city center on the one hand, and on the other hand it points to renewable energy sources, because the modern world is facing the challenge of huge consumption and the need to use more renewable energy sources. This is solar energy and modern technologies” , concluded Radojicic, who was also the first to recharge the battery on his phone.
“Solar tree” represents a metal structure that looks like a tree with branches on whose tops there are solar panels that, using solar energy, will produce electricity that will further be used to charge batteries of different devices with solar energy.
The tree attracted the attention of passers-by, and it will certainly be positively accepted, and therefore also used by citizens. Citizens of Banja Luka will now be able to charge their phones and other multimedia devices in the center of the city.
