13 Aug Smart bench installed in Banja Luka
A few years ago, company Telemax donated a solar tree to the City of Banja Luka. This gift was the inspiration for creating a new brand and City Gecko products themselves. The solar tree, which is located in the very center of the city, still resists the weather and other troubles and complements smart devices for citizens, tourists, and passers-by.
As manufacturers of smart urban mobiliar, we work on raising public awareness of the positive impact of using renewable energy sources. On that occasion, a solar bench – Modul Solar Supreme which is the part City Gecko products has been donated to the City of Banja Luka.
The smart solar bench is located in Bana Milosavljevića Street next to the National Theater. Now our fellow citizens have two places where they can charge their devices for free while surfing the Internet provided by the City of Banja Luka through our benches.
The installation of the bench was attended by the Mayor of Banja Luka Igor Radojičić and the Head of the Department for Communal Affairs Petar Bilčar, with whom they talked about technological innovations in the field of renewable energy and their importance for Banja Luka.
“We sincerely believe that this is the beginning of continued cooperation with our city,” said the director of Telemax d.o.o. Arijana Maksimchuk.
The Solar module is one of City Gecko’s products, and three brand products are currently being developed, tested and certified – a solar bench, a smart wooden bench and a charger/storage for electric scooters and bicycles, and there are several modifications according to response and feedback from the market.
The products are currently installed in three countries, and installation is planned in five more countries by the end of the year.
