Since the day of its founding, Telemax has shown its commitment to the local community, and following these principles, the City Gecko brand has been created, as a brand of smart urban furniture. The brand was created from many years of experience and knowledge gained through work in the field of electrical installations, as well as from great social responsibility, taking care of our environment by creating innovative solutions that will improve living standards. The need for energy is growing every day, and City Gecko was created to meet that need and be at your service at all times.
The City Gecko project started in 2019, and the rapidly growing progress of Smart city technologies was also reflected in our brand so that in the previous year we additionally focused on creating and perfecting innovations. We start this year satisfied with presenting you a new product within the City Gecko brand – A solar bus stop.
Thanks to that modularity, just maintaining the station is very simple. If there is any damage to the station, only that damaged part is replaced, not the entire station as is the case with “traditional” bus stops. This modular design, which was designed in our company, was then, like smart benches, protected at the Institute for Intellectual Property of BiH.
Like our smart benches, the bus stop uses solar energy as an energy source. Pure solar energy is converted into electricity for charging smart devices, free internet access, powering the info display, and recording various environmental and ambient data using sensors (temperature, air pressure, pollution level, noise level, energy consumption). This information, as well as an interactive map with marked tourist attractions near the stop, are displayed on the touch info display. The installed 55 ″ display is intended to display promotional content that makes a return on investment. Multiple such displays can be installed at one station to shorten the ROI and generate funds for new stops faster.
Valuable work in the past period has resulted in the introduction of the CE mark for smart benches, which completes the documentation required for the export of benches to the European and world markets. The CE mark guarantees the quality of our products and the environmental protection factor. We believe that this innovation will contribute to the development of environmental awareness of citizens and additional education on the importance of renewable energy sources and new technologies.
The stations are currently in the process of testing to provide them with a secure ticket for placement on the foreign market. Telemax’s next venture and the idea is the City Gecko concept, which includes the installation and connection of City Gecko products as well as other Smart City solutions.
