06 Feb CE mark for smart benches
Almost two years ago, Telemax launched its brand of smart urban furniture – City Gecko. The brand has designed and built smart benches in a short time, and is currently working on developing a solar bus station.
For smart benches to find their place in the foreign market as well, it was necessary to examine their quality and obtain official reports from an accredited institution. Since there is no accredited body in B&H that could perform tests, this responsibility has been transferred to the Končar Institute of Electrical Engineering in Zagreb.
All Citys Gecko smart benches (Solar Module, Wood Module, and Wheel Module) have passed the following tests at the Institute:
- Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive
- Low Voltage Directive (LVD)
- IP & IK
After successful testing, the reports were submitted together with the certificates for individual directives and protections.
The mentioned documents completed the documentation required for the introduction of the CE mark. Now all Smart Bench Modules are CE certified, and customers can get a copy of the certificate on request.
This is a big step for Telemax and the City Gecko brand itself because this certificate opens new business opportunities in the EU and the world.
